Men: |
The two (2) highest ranked teams from European Championships (other than Germany) will qualify direct to World Cup. |
The remaining teams in the top six (6) in the European Championship, but NOT two (2) teams to be relegated, will qualify to play in the World Cup Qualifier tournament. |
The winners of the Trophy will also qualify for the World Cup Qualifier - except if Germany should be relegated. |
