Den Bosch lives up to their favourite status

March, 30th, EHCCC in Hamburg: UHC Hamburg – Den Bosch 1:3 (1:0)

30.03.2013 - In a high class last match of the second day at EHCCC tournament in Hamburg, top favourite HC Den Bosch got a well deserved 3:1-victory over host UHC Hamburg. The UHC played a great first half and deserved the lead by Vivien Tahal (25.). But the Dutch champions who impressed with a great pressing throughout the whole game, took over control from that point of time.

The consequence was several corners and chances after the break, which lead to a goal by Lieke Hulsen, who converted a pass from Maartje Gouderie in the 43rd minute. In the following minutes Den Bosch increased the pressure and received a penalty stroke after a foot defence on the goal line, which was converted by Merel de Blaey. The same player flicked a penalty corner three minutes later to decide the game. In the last minutes Den Bosch kept the control an saved the second victory in group A.
