Title: Walk and Talk Hockey
Aim: To leverage hockey's global strength as a influential sporting community to create customised
and relevant Internet tools and technology to connect hockey players, teams and clubs locally, Regionally and globally through the message of Walk and Talk Hockey.
Details: By leveraging technology and the global reach of the Internet, allows hockey communities to connect and communicate in newer ways. Using the well organized strength of a global sport like ours will increase the attraction to young people to become involved not just as hockey players for their Clubs and Associations but to help with development programs or awareness events such as
games in the park or fun days in general to raise money for the club. In the current age of Twitter,
Facebook and Myspace, web technology is now not just accepted, but an expected way to
communicate to each other. Walk and Talk hockey embodies this ideal of the young generations Y
and Z.
Value for hockey: A greater strength and bonds in global hockey. Increased professionalism and
image of the people involved with the sport with the value of not only maintaining retention of
participation but potentially reaching more prospective members.

Title: Enlarge & Maintain
Aim: To encourage more boys and girls to start hockey. (Especially girl). To reduce the loss of the talented/potential players to other sport.
Details: The promotion plan will describe in detail.
How to increase number of players?
How to support school/ youth players & umpires?
How to develop coaches?
How to minimize loss of players?
How to improve the system?
How to get support from different areas?
What is the future for players?
What is the most important need for players?
This will make hockey far more popular in our country because:
Firstly, if more people know about the sport, then they will be more aware of the hockey within the city and around the world. Then they will do more things to fight for the sport. Now, we cannot promote well of this sport because people think hockey in Hong Kong is not a sport for Hong Kong people or Chinese. The main aim of the promotion plan is develop local students to play hockey and also become the umpire, let them be the dominant group in the sport.
