ENGLAND, PAKISTAN, KOREA AND NEW ZEALAND ARE QUALIFIED

2006-04-19 • Today the pool matches of the BDO World Cup Qualifiers, which is delivered at present in Changzhou (China), were terminated. The first five qualify directly for the WC in Mönchengladbach.

England defeated Belgium 1-0 and became first of pool A. Second in this group is Pakistan, which draws 2-2 against Ireland. In the pool B Korea 2-0 triumphed against China, followed from New Zealand, which won 4-2 against Malaysia.

France missed one of the two first places with a 3-5 defeat against Japan. Both play now with Belgium and Ireland for the 5th place, the one remaining place, to the WC participation entitled.

  • Belgium - France, 21st of April, 11:30
  • Japan - Ireland, 21st of April, 14:00

The two winners fight on 23rd of April, 12:30 for place 5.
