JAPAN CLAIMED LAST AVAILABLE WORLD CUP BERTH

2006-04-23 • In the match for the 5th place of the BDO World Cup Qualifiers, crucial for the WC participation, Japan beats France with 2:1. Thus all 12 participants are certain:

Argentina, Australia, England, India, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Netherlands, Pakistan, Spain, South Africa and Germany as host and title defender.


Now the pools for the world championship can be established. The schedule is published - after permission by the World Hockey Federation FIH - presumably at the beginning of May. Then also single tickets for the matches are available.

The qulifier is won by New Zealand followed by Korea, England and Pakistan. For further information about the BDO World Cup Qualifier
