REPORT SCHOOL-HOCKEY 1ST DAY

2006-09-08 • The sun was shining and under perfect conditions the first round of the Schoolhockey Tournament started. Some of the matches were really high-class and fascinating. All the pupils fought with great effort and no ball was given away. The young players were nearly on the same level with the national players who were playing only some hundred meters away. After the first round the teams of Bremen, Berlin, Hamburg, Rheinland-Pfalz, Hessen, Bayern, und Nordrhein-Westfalen qualified for the quarterfinal.

In the first Quarterfinal the schoolteam of Bremen won easily against the team of Nürnberg 7 : 2. At the other quarterfinals the teams of Rüsselsheim and Hamburg won against Ludwigshafen and Meerbusch.
